Voice changer

Posted by sistero on April 27, 2006 at 12:38 pm

Today, I finished soildering a great voice changer. First it simply produced great sounds since the speaker and the microphone were causing really good feedback loops.  Then I modified it with a better quality microphone, and also placed a mini jack on it so i can amplify it futher it produced less great sounds at random. I am hoping to put it to use for audio streaming and peformances.

Stock also placed to output separate from the volume on the stamp so its easier to control for larger sound systems.

Collaboration

Posted by shahee on April 20, 2006 at 11:49 am

Due to an intersection of ideas and in an attempt to explore how to take advantage of more specialized areas by each one, Nancy (sisterO) and Shahee have decided to collaborate. Both will be using this website to note whatever is relevant to the thematic project. At the end there might be two separate instruments, or just one.

Purpose

Posted by shahee on April 16, 2006 at 3:54 pm

This website is setup with the intention to use it as a platform to take notes, do sketches and to document the development of one of the ‘instrumental’ projects, which I will be part of. This website uses ‘wordpress’ and a modified theme ‘barecity 1.2’ which I developed during early January 2006. I have also setup some handy plugins such as ‘Audio-Player’ by Martin Laine for playing mp3 Audio on posts, ‘WP-FLV’ by Roel Meurders (to insert ‘Flash Video Player’ from Jeroen Wijering) for playing video clips on posts and ‘Fuzzy Recent Comments’ by Denis de Bernardy for displaying recent comments on the sidebar. I will add / develop more plugins and features for this website as it grows.

At this early stage many aspects of how the project would turn out are not decided yet. Anything and everything including the name, design, colours and even the medium of documentation may change during the coming 3 months!

In the meanwhile, if anyone has any suggestions or comments please use the commenting feature :)
